And the state owned banks of China will keep all that money in China and in the Chinese economy.
N ...

Commander Robert.

I believe RURAL REAL ESTATE developers will be small size.
Probably PROVINCIAL BANKS will do the necessary BANKING infrastructure.
There could be a bank in every other village.....or such

In fact, depending on CHINA'S PROVINCIAL policy or CHINA'S CENTRAL GOVERNMENT policy - it could mean SMALL BANKS - with sizes of Rmb100 million or so in capital. Perfect play for COASTAL CHINESE entrepreuners or the CHINESE Diaspora. But they will need good LOCAL KNOWLEDGE bank officers that understand the CHARACTER of their CUSTOMERS.

""Perfect play for COASTAL CHINESE entrepreuners or the CHINESE Diaspora.""

Not on your life!
China must keep all banks in China state owned. Otherwise all their progress will be stolen by foreigners.
If they open the door even an inch on this, all is lost.

Commander Roberts!

You are probably correct.
Well, maybe PROVINCIAL entrepreuners perhaps?

What's your opinion?
Local bankers are vital, you know!
Financing those vehicles, farm equipment, factory-process plant hire purchase leases and contruction cost of URBAN VILLAGE lots!

Then of course, there is land 150 million hectares of it - likely to be freely traded to boost the rural economy!

All banks in China must remain state owned. It doesn't matter how small they are.
The large state owned banks can open small branch offices in the villages as well.

Commander Roberts!

That's not true.
From my understanding, there is many PRIVATE BANKS in China at the moment. Of course the big BANKS are State controlled <not 100% state owned>. For the RURAL REGION, we need "really small banks" - more like Rmb100 million capital and maybe up to Rmb1 billion assets, deposits.

Local knowledge is required, especially in RURAL AREAS where there is NO CREDIT HISTORY. Local checks are needed as to LAND COLLATERALS, farm produce prices, PRODUCE HARVEST INSURANCE availability, TERM LOANS for new home construction, MORTGAGE for Shophouses, Workshops, Factories in URBAN VILLAGE CLUSTERS.

Surely, BIG CITY BANKS cannot serves such a market or are indifferent!

"Great opportunities in Central, Western and South Western China lor!
Instead of BEING BEST in Singapore, Batam and some say Johor Baru, We can be Best in Central China too! Afterall, our British legacy, and SINGAPORE MAJU LAH developments has given us skills sets that is advantageous to undertake small scale real estate business for CHINA'S URBAN VILLAGE CONCEPT - model.

Basically it's LAND PREPARATION. The land will be have POWER LINES, SEWAGE, WATER prepared. Land will be APPLIED TO BE ZONED by China's provincial government. Lots can be sold for cash.

Shops will be possible to be MORTGAGE to small size BANKS. <In British terminology, it's call a FINANCE COMPANY - for small banks>. I can develop TEOCHEW STYLE village in Central China! he he he he he

Contractor Phua adds

"Look at how poorly the VILLAGES in many parts of China looks. No drainage, No sewage <just hole in the ground>, No tap water, some only poor quality electricity supply due to EXPENSIVE scattering of current small village.

My new REAL ESTATE PROJECT will make want to PLAY PLAY with Modern Houses. Some of these Villagers have Children in Big City at the coast, seen how many businesses there. They have money, maybe more than Rmb200,000 each - some lucky will have more than Rmb1,000,000.

These are lucky one lor!

They can buy SHOP houses, and run CAFE, GROCERY, SERVICES, workshops"
