China needs a major Analog IC chip company emerged, now it has None.

Most China Semiconductor development focused mostly on digital Chip and memory.

It needs to have a major Analog IC company emerges to compete with US Analog Device, Linear tech, TI etc

Analog IC uses Bipolar high current, high power transistor for operational amplier, power managment, motor driver instead of digital CMOS technology.

Anybody wonder why Asian countries like Japan. South Korea, Taiwan , and China don't make analog IC using Bipolar tech and GaAs instead CMOS. Products such as opamp, motor driver, power management, etc

That's because US had the head start in 50s. So later it spawned companies like Fairchild, Maxim , Analog device, national semiconductor, TI, etc. Mostly analog players.

Japan started IC at 70s and South Korea, Taiwan 80s , already late to the game so they concentrate mainly digital chip such as memory or IC fab foundry. Mainly digital tech.

Likewise for China. It's main supplier analog products are all from US companies.

Now. It can be changed.

China has big enough market so if go hard to develop those analog components it can achieve. There are only US companies to compete no Japanese. South Korea. Taiwan competitors.

Hey, you were the guys that invented paper. So what happened the past 3,000 years?
