Does it make it hard to uphold a relationship as a vegan?

More and more friends now around me turn to be a vegatable-eating beings and some complain it's hard for them to start or keep their relationship with their partners if they are not vegans as well.
So what do you think of the dining habbit, will you bear it if your partner is while you are not?

if my partner chooses to become vegan, that is his choice.
Likewise if i decide to become a vegan , i would not expect my bf to also become one.
but using this as a bargaining chip in a relationship is childish and emotional blackmail.

To say 'if you love me, you will......' is a flag to break a relationship off.
only the emotionally immature say this and expect the other person to do whatever it is they want/

I seldom eat meat because I think that's cruel. However my roommates feel like a meal without meat will be imperfect, but we are happy together.
