Do I like trees? I love forests. Seems we Germans have a special connection to forests. Where I grew up there were forests all arround....whenever I had to think about something, had problems or something like that I would take a walk through the forest.....I love it, silence...only the sounds of nature....no people arround. Wow, can`t describe the feeling i have right now....seems I miss it^^

Really? Well nice to hear that they started caring about the environment. Difficult to find a "silent" place without crowds in Shanghai. I went to some of those mountains you have to visit coz they are sooo famous, one in the North near Beijing(forgot the name...but famous for the color of the leaves, red that is, in autumn).....horrible.....tens of thousands of people. Was more stress than a 8hour meeting.

Man Killed by Falling Branch

Trees can be dangerous objects to kill walkers.
Walkers do not aware which tree is rotten and will fall in a sudden after heavy rain. Once I was almost hit by a big branch of a tree.
There're specialists to monitor trees in some big cities.
