The world famous US motorcycle company Harley Davidson is moving part of its manufacturing operations to the EU to avoid the high tariffs imposed on motorcycles by the EU in response to Trumps' tariffs on EU steel and aluminium.  US jobs will be lost.  This is a huge blow to Trump, and signals the first cracks in his trade war game.  Perhaps China should take a lesson from the EU; target US manufacturing and force some US companies to move to China to avoid the tariffs China impose on their products!  That should teach the arrogant Trump a lesson, and hopefully bring him back to his senses!

What boosts your confidence that Harley Davidson's decision is a first "loss" for Donald Trump?

...

You have missed what the chief of HD said when he decided to move some ops to EU; he specifically referred to the EU tariffs, saying it would cost his compnay more than $100,000 annually!  Go check it out before you shoot off!  And btw, Trump was very upset with HD, threatened it with punituve measures, typical of that clown in the White House!
