“Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.” ~ Confucius

“It is not a daily increase, but a daily decrease. Hack away at the inessentials.” ~ Bruce Lee

I love to keep things simple.

I focus on what is important and what is essential.

1. Don't Sweat The Small Stuff

Years ago, I was giving a speech at the World Wellness Convention in Austin, Texas. I met another speaker there, Dr. Richard Carlson. He had written a little book that was extremely popular in America called, "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff." The title of the book was enough for me. Most people worry about small things. They waste a lot of time and energy on things that don't matter. I get past the small stuff as quickly as possible.

Two things that living in China has taught me are, (1) people will treat you unfair (2) the same people who will cheat you or treat you unfairly will usually do so to get a few extra yuan from you. Don't sweat it. Go make more money so that a few yuan doesn't matter to you. They are the ones who will suffer from their dishonesty and lack of character.

2. Choose Happiness Every Day

If you don't know how to be happy every day, read Victor Frankl's book, "Man's Search for Meaning". He lived in Nazi German as a Jew and only escaped because he was thrown on to a pile of corpses. He faked being dead in order to escape alive. You'll find out that your life is easy in comparison.

3. Listen to Music Every Day

Listen to positive music that makes you feel good, every day. I like classical music with no words. I also like songs that inspire me. Put them on your phone and carry some earphones or ear pods.

4. Reduce Your Worry Time

I read a plaque once that said, "Don't tell me that worry doesn't work. Almost everything I worry about, never happens." It is fruitless to worry much. Focus on solutions and not problems. Whatever you focus on, you'll often attract into your life.

5. Treat Everyone Well

I'm honored that people acknowledge me everywhere I go. They recognize me as a foreigner. Some know me from my appearances on television. No matter, I get to make people happier every day. Just yesterday, I was on the elevator and young girl was smiling. I said, "Hello!" She talked to me a little in English. She was giggling because she got to use her English and talk to a foreigner. It made her happy. I'm willing to give a little of my time to people to treat them well and make them happy. Find ways for you to do the same. When you do, you'll be happier.

Life isn't as hard as most people make it out to be. Decide that you're going to improve the quality of your life and take action to do it. Follow these 5 steps and you'll be happier and live a lighter life.

Life should go like music which is full of philosophy!  If you could not solve the problem for the moment, just wait a while!  The sky would show you rainbow after raining!

Life is like a mirror.
If you smile upon it, it will smile back upon you;
if you frown on it, you will get a similar way in return.

I wonder if you have dressed up the beautiful lady in the mirror at the moment?

Everyone could be so (imaginative) if he or she devote all of energy onto the job!  Such dreaming-statement is helpful for writing as well as to health!

if you take the factors of sweatshops and real estate bubbles out of the  equation, china's economy is by no means that big. china's economy may appear impressive on numbers, but is of quite poor quality. on per ca pita basis china is and will remain to be one of the poorest countries on earth. it really does not make sense to say if china will dominate the world or not.
