Good morning.
Today is Tongue Twister Tuesday. Tongue twisters are used by all professional ESL teachers and trainers. You will improve your pronunciation, annunciation, diction, fluency and rhythm in speaking English. Plus, it is fun to try.
Today’s Tongue Twister
“A good cook who cooks cookies, could cook more cookies than a good cook who couldn’t cook cookies cooks.”
Ah, this one is so much fun. Of course the word ‘cook’ is a noun. It is a person who cooks. ‘Cook’ can also be a verb as you can see in this tongue twister. And, you know that ‘cookie’ comes from the same root at ‘cook.’ So, that’s what makes this tongue twister so challenging and fun.
Have fun!
So long for now! (Another way to say ‘goodbye’)
That’s all for today.
I hope you have a wonderful day!
