There is a commonweal organization of public medical service in our college called Sunshine Medical Group, which includes Medical Guide Team,Unpaid Blood Donation Team,First Aid Team and Traditional Chinese Medicine Team.I have been a member of the Medical Guide Team.(By the way,I'm a sophomore and major in clinic medicine.)
Every two weeks,we guide for patients as volunteers in Central Hospital at different floors. Before that,we're given formal training and test and only the passers can be selected to give service. We have volunteer press credentials and team uniforms. The pink color is so striking and warm.
Most of the time,I'm arranged at Outpatient clinic, where the crowd gather. Some patients don't konw which room to go.One of our duties is listening to their symptoms of illness, selecting the true department and then registering in the machine. Therefore,we must be acquainted with the positions of every departments so that we can guide for patients without hesitation.
In additon to the medical guide, another important work for us is taking the laboratory test report. The Auto-service machine in first floor contains a series of functions:registening, paying, booking in and printing laboratory test report, which is really something that is convenient for patients and reduces the queue time.Meanwhile, due to it's advance, some people can't operate. We introduce and show the operation as well as keep order.

Well, you said it.In fact, who chooses clinic medicine as a major in China will spend 5 years to get the bachelor degree. And the latest policy stipulates that we must accept the standardized residents training in hospital which will take 3 years and only those who pass the whole examine can become the actual doctor. So,the master's degree will,,,yes take you 11 years totally.
