On the world map, Singapore is just a dot. What makes this dot so attractive to millions of tourists? Hope you can find the answer in this blog. I’ve carefully picked top 9 must-visit places in Singapore for your information.

1. Universal Studios Singapore
It’s the first and only Universal Studio in the Southeast Asia. It’s full of fun. Been there for three times, I’m still not tired of it. You can get thrilled with mummy, battle with Decepticons, rocked with monsters, visit Sesame Street, explore Jurassic Park, play cute with Minions and Kung Fu Panda and meet Marilyn Monroe...and so much more.

2. National Museum
Get to know the history, culture of the young nation. I’m sure you will be amazed by what the fishing village has been through to become such a contemporary international city that you’re seeing today.

3. Gardens by the Bay
This huge eco-friendly park is located in the downtown area in harmony with the skyscrapers in CBD as part of the strategy by the government to build transform Singapore to a city in a garden.

4. Marina Bay Sands
The integrated resort is the landmark of the country. It features luxury stores, world-class entertainments, international exhibitions, a casino, an iconic hotel with an infinite swimming pool on 57th floor...

5. Sentosa
The other one of Singapore's first integrated resorts. It’s an idyllic island away from the center of the city. Singapore is nearly 100% urbanized, which makes Sentosa a good option to get away form the fast-paced city life and enjoy some leisure time on the pristine beach or donate some money to casino... There are many fancy clubs, hotels and other attractions as well, like allegedly the biggest aquarium in the world, 4D AdventureLand and iFly.

6. Singapore Zoo, River Safari
The two wildlife reserves are next to each other. They follow the “open” concept, which means the animals are displayed in naturistic exhibits with hidden barriers or glasses. Go find the “wild” side of Singapore.

7. Orchard Road
With 22 shopping malls offering a wide range of brands, Orchard road is truly a shopping paradise. All the malls are built on the both side of a 2.2km-long boulevard full of twittering birds. If you are lucky enough, one of them may poop on your head.

8. Clarke Quey
It’s the place that never sleeps. When the sun goes down, Clark Quey just comes to life. You don’t have to get wasted in the club and have a hangover. It’s more fun to have a drink and some music by the river, watching the alcoholics making a scene.

9.Geylang
For a city known for its green and clean image, this place is gonna surprise you. It’s a legal red-light district in Singapore. I like to go there sometimes, yet for the food only. Geylang is also famous for the food like frog porridge and fruit like durian. I do not know much about the brothels. You may find it out yourself.

Thank you for the blog, it gives me more desire to go there and explore Singapore for myself.
I have met a few people from Singapore and that is what attracts me to any city is people  that act as ambassadors for their city.
Hmmn I was thinking of going to Hong Kong again in December on a visa run. Maybe I should change my plans and visit Singapore.
