Li Bai is a great poet in Tang dynasty. It was said that he did not like to read books and was afraid of difficulties when he was a child. So the progress of his studying was slow. This story will tell us how Libai became a deligent student and overcome the fears.

One day, Libai was walking on the way of going back to home, passing a river, noticing an old lady was grinding an iron rod. He was puzzled, walked toward the old lady and asked:"Grannie, what are you trying to get by grinding the iron rod?" The old lady said:"Grind this iron rod into a needle." At that time, Libai asked again in surprise:"It's such a thick iron rod, how can you grind it into a needle?" The old lady said:"It can be true, definitely I can! If I work hard enough, I can mill this iron rod into a needle." After listened to the old lady's answer, Libai suddenly realized that the principle of studying. Thereafter, Libai studied very hard and made great progress. Afterward, he became a famous poet.

It's a popular and meaingful fable in China. The parents and teachers always teach the children to insist on studying and thinking until they achieved the career goal. I had read it several times. Every time, I have different thoughts about it. Except for enough time and patience, you still need to follow the right method. If there is new technolgoy, you are encouraged to try them, don't just keep doing with wrong way and inefficient way. All in all, you had better summarize the previous work and clearly know the mistakes and the further development. Only in that way, grinding iron rod into needle might coem to true. Furthermore, dont't underestimate the flickers of progress, the accumulation is the key for the learners to become a successful person.
